LEADERSHIP COACHING
For leaders who want to kick mediocrity to the curb!
Nobody dreams of being a mediocre leader
Technical brilliance and leadership are completely different skills.
Too many people are promoted without the support to lead well.
One day you’re smashing targets and solving problems like a legend. The next, people are looking to you for answers you’re not sure you have, and there’s this nagging sense that everyone else got a leadership manual you somehow missed.
This probably isn’t the energising, fulfilling experience you imagined. But, you know there’s more. And you’re ready to lead in a way that feels real, grounded, and genuinely impactful.
Some of the organisations I’ve coached leaders in
(If you’re curious, or just like to know you’re in good company.)
“Totally in tune with what I need.”
“Belinda challenges my thinking, to a new deeper level. Working together has increased my understanding of what makes me tick, and my business successful. Coming from that platform produces goal setting and strategy that’s totally in tune with what I need.”
- HAYLEY ROBERTS, DIRECTOR, WORKING IN NZ
Is leadership coaching right for you?
Feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of leadership?
I see this all the time - you got promoted because you're brilliant at what you do, but suddenly you're caught between your bosses expectations and your team looking to you for answers you’re not sure you have. Most days, it feels like you’re the go-to problem solver running on fumes. It’s exhausting.
As for the badge of honour that says if you’re not running on empty your not doing enough - don’t get me started…!
You can keep white-knuckling it through your week. Or you can find a way to lead that doesn’t drain the life out of you.
Struggling to manage people, not just projects?
You’ve nailed the technical side of your role. But throw in a team of actual humans with opinions, moods, and different working styles? That’s a whole different challenge.
One minute you’re giving feedback, the next you’re navigating someone’s passive-aggressive email, and somehow you're also supposed to inspire them while managing up and keeping your own head above water.
Look, managing people isn’t some magical instinct you’re born with - it’s a skill. And just like any skill, it can be learned, practised, and made your own. Preferably without losing your sense of humour along the way.
Second-guessing yourself more than you'd like?
That voice in your head asking, “Did I handle that right?”… yeah, I know that one too. Even my most successful clients admit they lie awake replaying conversations, wondering if someone else would have done it differently.
t’s completely human to reflect. But when it’s happening at 2am or when you’re meant to be enjoying dinner with your family - that’s not reflection, that’s rumination. And it’s exhausting.
Even the leaders you admire feel this way sometimes. The difference is, confident leaders learn to trust their instincts, make decisions and move forward without second-guessing every move.
Wanting more than the day-to-day grind?
You’re not just here to tick boxes -I know that. You want to make an impact, not just survive your calendar. Maybe you’re craving more purpose, more clarity, or simply space to think.
So many leaders I work with tell me they feel stuck in the weeds - pulled into endless meetings, firefighting issues, and barely touching the strategic work they were actually excited about. It’s frustrating. It’s tiring. And it’s not what leadership was supposed to feel like.
I wish more people knew this: wanting to lead with energy and intention isn’t asking too much. It’s not indulgent - it’s essential. That’s what good leadership actually looks like.
“Loved every minute.”
“Belinda supported me through a really big professional transition, she challenged me, pushed me, and improved me. It’s not just that she did these things, it’s how she did them. Belinda takes time to make a human connection so when she challenges you it can be both uncomfortable and safe at the same time. Loved every minute.”
- SAM PARKER, GM DIGITAL, PGL CORPORATION
So, we’ve established that you’re a perfectly normal human in a leadership role - and that you want MORE.
Good. You should!
Imagine this...
- Leadership that feels steady and clear - even when things are messy.
- Making decisions with confidence, not second-guessing.
- Having space to think, reflect, and actually lead.
- Seeing your team grow, step up, and thrive.
- Feeling like the way you lead is not just effective, but yours - aligned, intentional, and (dare I say) even joyful.
You’re in the right place.
Coaching gets you out of the weeds and into your groove. So you lead with more impact, your team lifts with you, and your results are better.
Oh, and you get to enjoy life a bit more too - that ones possibly my fav!
YOUR LEADERSHIP COACHING JOURNEY
Step 1 - Check the fit, identify the challenge
Our first 30-minute consultation is for us to see if we’ll work well together. This call is about me working out if I can help you, and you deciding if you feel comfortable with me.
Coaching is a partnership, so this call should feel like a warm hug when you arrive home. A sign that I’m the right coach for you is if you leave this call feeling supported, like someone’s finally got your back.
Whatever’s going on for you, the challenges are real. Leaders everywhere face what you’re going through. I’ve worked with hundreds of leaders across a range of industries, cultures, and countries, and I see the same issues globally.
Now, while your challenges might be universal, your situation will be unique. You’re an individual, with your own circumstances and experience of the world. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Your coaching will be nuanced and crafted to fit your personal needs.
Step 2: Define your coaching objectives
We spend time defining what you want to get out of coaching. Those initial objectives become an anchor point, but we can lift that anchor and move it if your needs change.
I may have some initial meetings with stakeholders to align goals for your coaching. If your CEO has suggested you get coaching, they may have insights and suggestions. Other sponsors prefer to leave things completely to you, and as a result, these conversations are optional.
Once we know what we’re aiming to achieve, we complete a coaching contract, and you get access to my calendar to book your coaching calls.
Step 3: Activate your leadership talents
Coaching is a series of powerful conversations.
We come at topics from different angles to unlock curiosity, courage, confident vulnerability, and self-awareness. Strengthening these muscles builds your leadership abilities and accelerates results.
I'm going to ask you to be curious and intentional about your opinions, and honest about your feelings. That builds your courage to be authentic. We’ll also work on your self-awareness and circumstantial awareness to identify any self-sabotaging things you habitually do in tricky situations.
We work on two levels.
I help you become more aware of who you are, how your personality plays out in your leadership, and address any internal barriers and blind spots holding you back. At the same time, I give you a toolbox of tactics and techniques to deal with specific leadership challenges.
Use your coaching time the way you want.
I’m here to be your sounding board, to give advice, challenge your thinking, validate your ideas, brainstorm ways to solve issues, or come up with a plan. We regularly review progress to make sure the work we’re doing is aligned with your goals. I may check in with your sponsor along the way.
Return on investment for coaching is about lasting change.
Change happens when you put what we discuss into action. Only 10% of your learning takes place in our coaching conversations. 70% happens when you put your plan into practice. The rest of your learning is from coming back, checking in, and analysing how things went.

LEADERSHIP COACHING FAQS
What sort of leaders do you work with?
Most of the people I coach are established leaders in the C-Suite or GMs. I coach leaders who manage a budget and are accountable for meeting organisational objectives. You probably manage at least one team, or if you don’t have a team, you answer to stakeholders internally and externally.
Do you only work with executives and CEOs?
Absolutely not! Coaching is effective for leaders at all levels, and it’s especially valuable for new emerging leaders learning how to nurture and motivate a team, who need to understand the difference between management and leadership.
I’ve worked with a range of industries, ranging from Government and Government agencies to large corporates to SMEs to solopreneur start-ups.
Do you have experience working with engineers / Government / tech leaders / multinationals / owner operators etc?
Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes.
But also, that probably doesn’t matter as much as you think it does.
Some people like to have a coach with industry expertise, and while it can be helpful to work with someone who understands your professional environment, I’ve worked with hundreds of leaders across a range of industries, cultures, and countries, and I see similar leadership issues globally, regardless of industry.
Leaders everywhere face what you’re going through. And I can help.
There’s also something to be said for working with a coach who isn’t super close to your industry. They bring a fresh lens, the ability to ask questions someone steeped in your industry might not consider, along with ideas from outside your industry that can give you a serious edge.
That was a long way of saying, that if experience with your industry is important to you, there’s a good chance I have it, so get in touch and ask.
Which coaching programme is best for me?
If you're grappling with an immediate big, scary challenge, you need someone in your corner fast, and you’re sure we can wrap things up in two months or less, go with tactical short-term support.
Lasting change takes time, so if you’re more interested in raising your leadership capability, and developing long-term leadership skills, the strategic long-term results programme allows more time for embedding change. And we're not just working on you and your problems. You’ve got unlimited access and I've got your back so you can use me as a sounding board whenever you need a perspective in critical moments.
What sort of coaching conversations might we have?
Unlocking your full leadership capabilities means becoming more self-aware and attuned to your circumstances, having the courage to be vulnerable, and develop curiosity, so you can be a more authentic leader.
I’ll ask you questions, sure. But it’s not an interrogation, I gave up the ‘how do you feel?’ coaching style over a decade ago. Instead, we’ll have a conversation tailored to what you need.
Does unlimited access mean I have 24/ 7 access if I have a question?
If you need an emergency sounding board outside of hours, and it’s appropriate for me, then I’m totally there for you. You can call, text or email, and I’ll get back to you. Otherwise, I work normal business hours - whatever they are - and we’ll meet then.
Can you facilitate a tricky conversation I don’t want to have alone?
Yes, I can. My goal is first to equip you with the strategy, skills, and confidence to have that conversation alone. However, organisations do hire me to facilitate important conversations, so if the conversation is high stakes enough to merit investing in a facilitator, I’d be happy to help for an additional fee.
What are your payment terms?
I’ll send you an invoice before we get started.
