How do I sell the idea of communication training to my team?

This training is essential for new leaders and leaders keen to upgrade their communication skills.

This training can be an upgrade, a refresher, or a complete do-over, depending on what you need. When you first book this programme, we’ll discuss your needs and how you sell this to your team.

Someone in my team is a really poor communicator. Will this help?

If your problematic communicator is a leader, then this training will definitely help, and their whole team will benefit as a result. Communication training upgrades the effectiveness of your whole organisation.

This programme can also be a great refresher. By doing this training, you’ll understand the elements of good communication better, so you can lead by example, coach, and support your team to be better communicators. 

We’ve lots of organisational challenges now, and the leadership team need some support to discuss these sticky issues with their team. Will this help?

Absolutely. Handling tricky communication is a key part of being a leader. Often leaders must deliver bad news, from telling your team you’re restructuring to letting someone know they haven’t got the promotion they wanted. You often need to handle tough questions or abrasive personalities, and sometimes you must step up and object to ideas.

Learning techniques to frame up difficult conversations is a big part of this training. More inclusive conversations are the main solution to conflict. I help leaders handle tough topics in a way that feels accessible and invites different perspectives. This leads to better discussion and decision-making as well as increased trust.

This training prepares you to have difficult conversations rather than to use conflict wisely. If you’re handling a challenging conflict situation and need support, I recommend leadership coaching. Or if it’s for a team that’s ‘conflicting’ a lot, Unfight Club is a brilliant programme.

Will this help me communicate better with difficult people?

Yes, for sure. We'll teach you how to be a better listener, ask better questions, and have more inclusive conversations. Those three things all help when it comes to communicating with difficult people.
