BUSINESSES THAT TRUST ME TO TRAIN THEIR LEADERS
WHEN LEADERS AREN’T BRILLIANT COMMUNICATORS, EVERYTHING SUFFERS AS A RESULT
Maybe your team push back when they’re asked to do new things because you don’t know how to build buy-in. Maybe performance is flat because people aren’t inspired and energised to deliver results. Maybe hybrid working and digital communication are making it tough for you to stay in touch with your team. It all comes back to communication.
LET’S GET ONE THING CLEAR. COMMUNICATION ISN’T A SOFT SKILL!
Research repeatedly shows employees are frustrated by what they see as lack lustre communication from leaders. Communication is a critical leadership skill. The results from this training will directly impact your bottom line because your people will have greater clarity, be more productive, happy, and engaged.

WHEN LEADERSHIP COMMUNICATION TRAINING IS A MUST
Team performance isn't up to scratch
When performance is sub-par, communication is the first thing to check. Is leaders’ communication clear, consistent, inclusive, and motivating? If not, let’s fix it.
Your organisation is in a period of challenging change
Build team buy-in for change. Strong communication is the foundation of effective change management, while poor communication is the reason so many change initiatives fail.
Turn your best people into star communicators
It’s a leader’s job to make sure teams feel heard and appreciated, to share info clearly, manage conflict, and get people on side. Give leaders the communication toolbox they need.
Struggling to communicate with your hybrid team?
As more teams work remotely, leaders need to become excellent communicators to keep everyone engaged and in the loop, and prevent communication breakdowns.
SOME OF THE COMMUNICATION GOLD WE’LL COVER TOGETHER
Having more impact and influence
Stop feeling you're forever shouting into the wind. Take the sleaze out of networking, learn how to communicate with confidence and influence key people.
Balancing empathy and assertiveness
Leaders are always being told they need to be empathetic, but nobody ever says how.
Be seen as an empathetic leader who still delivers results.
Building trust and inclusion
Communication is a two-way thing. We cover active listening and inclusive communication, and you’ll learn a great framework for inclusive conversations that encourage ideas.
Creating team buy-in for change
Anytime you propose something new, you risk pushback, and the bigger the change the more resistance. Make change conversations more productive.
Communicating under pressure
Understand how to frame up tricky topics, respond to difficult situations and tough questions, have hard conversations, and deliver bad news with credibility and grace.
Communicating well with hybrid teams
With more remote workers and the proliferation of digital comms channels, good communication is even more critical. Keep your hybrid team onside.

LEADERSHIP COMMUNICATION TRAINING FAQS
How do I sell the idea of communication training to my team?
This training is essential for new leaders and leaders keen to upgrade their communication skills.
This training can be an upgrade, a refresher, or a complete do-over, depending on what you need. When you first book this programme, we’ll discuss your needs and how you sell this to your team.
Someone in my team is a really poor communicator. Will this help?
If your problematic communicator is a leader, then this training will definitely help, and their whole team will benefit as a result. Communication training upgrades the effectiveness of your whole organisation.
This programme can also be a great refresher. By doing this training, you’ll understand the elements of good communication better, so you can lead by example, coach, and support your team to be better communicators.
We’ve lots of organisational challenges now, and the leadership team need some support to discuss these sticky issues with their team. Will this help?
Absolutely. Handling tricky communication is a key part of being a leader. Often leaders must deliver bad news, from telling your team you’re restructuring to letting someone know they haven’t got the promotion they wanted. You often need to handle tough questions or abrasive personalities, and sometimes you must step up and object to ideas.
Learning techniques to frame up difficult conversations is a big part of this training. More inclusive conversations are the main solution to conflict. I help leaders handle tough topics in a way that feels accessible and invites different perspectives. This leads to better discussion and decision-making as well as increased trust.
This training prepares you to have difficult conversations rather than to use conflict wisely. If you’re handling a challenging conflict situation and need support, I recommend leadership coaching. Or if it’s for a team that’s ‘conflicting’ a lot, Unfight Club is a brilliant programme.
Will this help me communicate better with difficult people?
Yes, for sure. We'll teach you how to be a better listener, ask better questions, and have more inclusive conversations. Those three things all help when it comes to communicating with difficult people.
Will this communication training help me get things done?
Yes. You will learn to be more assertive, which requires you to listen, be empathetic and understand others’ opinions before you take a position yourself. When people feel they’ve been heard and included, they’re far more likely to buy in to that thing you want them to do.
